Standard promotion mailings

We just tried to send a standard “buy our product” mailing with one of our partners (so hard to write when half of the information you can not share).

The mailing include short description of products, boxshots and links to buy them.

The conversion was between 0.3% and 0.6%, which is very small. Looks like people really don’t like spam nowdays.

We’ve got suggestion from the partner, who’s send the mailing for us:

  • use trial versions
  • use some information which could be interesting for the customers, white papers, reports etc

Basically they suggested we should not abuse our (even paid) right to speak with those people.

Next time we’re trying trial versions.
