Part Yossemite in California is the last home of squoias, the biggest trees on Earth. There aren’t much left any more, sequoias were not designed for current climat of planet Earth. We drove 5 hours from San-Jose especially to have a look at them. And it worth it.
It’s quite hard to attempt to show the size of those beasts. Here am I, for comarisson:
The sequoias have to burn every now and then, just in order to preserve the balance of small, medium, big and huge sequoias in the forest
The trees are located in the southern part of the huge park, but Yossemite is much more. The main western entrance is simply breath-taking:
