Sore throat: a day off?

Last night I had troubles falling to sleep because of throat pain. I think my immune system let a little virus in. In all other aspects I feel fine, the last two quality workouts felt hard but I showed nice performance.

Today I supposed to do a double: 4 mi in the morning, 6 mi in the evening. But disrupted sleep is a big no-no for me. Training without supercompensation is useless and there is no compensation without proper amount of sleep.

So morning 4 mi is cancelled. I’m still on a fence about the evening run.¬†With 72 degrees (+22C) it should be the first t-shirt run in Boston this year for me! I might just do it if my throat feels better in the evening.
